Narrowsburg is waking back up for the season 🌿

This Saturday marks the return of the Narrowsburg Farmers Market — one of those sure signs that spring has really arrived. Expect fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, local makers, friendly faces, and that unmistakable first-market energy.

Make a day of it while you’re in town:
🛠️ Repair Café at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch Library
🎨 Spring Makers Market at the Narrowsburg Union
🥕 Farmers Market from 10am–1pm behind the Union

And Saturday evening, we’re sending our best wishes to the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance as they celebrate their 50th Anniversary Gala at the Sullivan County Airport in Swan Lake. Congratulations on 50 years of supporting arts and culture in our region — and here’s to the next 50.

Forecast says sunshine and 70s, the shops are open, and the village is ready for a good weekend.

🎉 Celebrating 50 Years of Arts & Culture with the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance 🎉

It’s a milestone year for DVAA, and the 2026 lineup is packed with ways to get involved, experience great art, and celebrate this creative community we all love.

✨ Kick things off at the 50th Anniversary Gala on May 16—a special evening honoring five decades of arts in the Delaware Valley.

🎨 This summer, don’t miss the Anniversary Exhibitions, including two open-call shows—artists are encouraged to submit work.

🎭 Looking ahead to fall, DVAA presents Our Town this October. Auditions will be held May 20 & 23—all are welcome!

🎬 Film lovers, take note: Retro Cinema is back with a lineup of films from 1976:

🌱 Spring clean your space—and show some love to our community while you’re at it.

The Town of Tusten is hosting its annual Spring Clean Up Day this Saturday:

📍 Tusten Highway Barn – 6067 State Route 97
🗓 May 2 | 9 AM – 2 PM
🚚 Limit: one pickup truck load per household

Bring your appliances, scrap metal, construction & demolition debris, and bulky waste—and leave a little lighter 👍🏼

♻️ More ways to responsibly clear things out:

• Starting May 4 through September, Sullivan County residents can recycle up to 10 electronic items per household (think TVs, laptops, cords, cameras + more)
📍 64 Ferndale Loomis Rd, Liberty, New York

• Join the Sullivan County Road & Trail Litter Pluck (happening now through Oct 31) and help keep our roads and trails beautiful
• Need disposal coupons? Stop by the Tusten Town Clerk’s Office

Today in Honesdale at the Grace Episcopal Church: Owl and friends is hosting a Community Baby Shower to support expecting parents. Families are invited to take free baby items and clothing, enjoy light refreshments, participate in fun activities, and connect with other local families.
