It's with a very heavy heart that we announce our good friend, Ron Chapman of Nashville, TN. passed away on Nov. 2, 2024. Ron offered his Gibson houseboat for the video shoot of Craig Morgan's Redneck Yacht Club back in May of 2004. Joining were songwriters, Steve Williams and Thom Shepherd, friends, Craig's bandmates. Mr. Chapman's boat was the centerpiece of the shoot along with another famous songwriter's houseboat, Bobby Harden (Too Cold at Home & more).

Ron and his beautiful wife, Mary Alice hosted amazing outings and dinners on their houseboat at Elm Hill Marina throughout the years with many of Nashville's best singer/songwriters, musicians and just all-around great people.

Ron was enjoying another day at the lake with family when he passed. They say "do what you love" and he certainly did it up right!

Much love to you and your family! You have left us with the sweetest of memories. Thank you!
