This stunning 1966 Fender Stratocaster is one of the cleanest examples of that famous “Candy Apple Red” finish we have ever seen. This transitional era from Fender gave us many of our favorite guitars and this is a perfect example. The trio of single coil pickups sound incredible and the flamey maple neck plays fantastic with a transitional large headstock and rosewood board, it just doesn’t get much cooler! Fully original, this guitar would make a great addition to any collection and is a phenomenal player, as well! Includes the Original Hardshell Case.

Early ES-345 models are often referred to as “burst killers” and this 1961 is a perfect example played here by Austin John Doody. With two original PAF humbucking pickups, a slim profile 61 neck, and factory stereo wiring with varitone circuit, this guitar offers a wide array of phenomenal tones.

The original tuners were replaced with Grovers at some point but this remains an otherwise original example that includes the brown Lifton case. With the price of dot necks and late 50’s Les Pauls beyond the reach of most players early 345s are often equally stellar sounding without the huge collector’s tag. If you’re looking for a great sounding PAF ES model guitar, this one is hard to beat!

Few guitar players are as closely associated with a single instrument as Roger McGuinn is with the Rickenbacker 12 string. His distinctive tone and playing helped launch the “Folk Rock” boom of the mid 60’s and firmly established Rickenbacker as the undisputed champion of Jangle.

This limited run 1989 Signature model honors his timeless sound with unique features like an onboard compressor, signature pickguard, and a trio of Rick “toaster top” pickups. With only 1000 of these made they have become highly coveted by fans and collectors, and you won’t find a cleaner example for sale!

Just in is a 2021 Gibson Custom Shop 1959 ES-335 B.B. King “Live at the Regal” in Argentine Grey played here by Austin John Doody! Few records have had an impact on guitar playing and music in general as BB King’s Live at the Regal recording from 1965. Recorded in November 1964, BB’s singing and most importantly, guitar playing, are a masterclass in beautiful and emotive phrasing, and inspired almost everyone who’s played electric guitar since.

Legendary players like Eric Clapton have cited this record specifically as a huge influence. To commemorate this seminal pillar of the evolution of electric guitar playing, Gibson Guitars recreated the unique 1959 ES-335 BB used for this iconic performance. It featured the rare combination of a varitone circuit and factory Bigsby tremolo on a 335 model, with the distinctive “argentine grey” finish. This limited run of Murphy Lab aged instruments faithfully recreates this guitar in precise detail. Only 100 of these instruments were made by the Custom Shop. This example is in excellent shape and includes all of the original case candy from the Custom Shop. A dream guitar for any fan of BB King and electric blues guitar!
