Looks like a tea-dying pumpkin garden over here. TIP: we get our eggs from Costco - the plastic egg containers are great for sitting all your wet tea-dyed items onto to dry! The sections allow air to get up underneath the pieces!

It's "feels like 108 degrees"...ugh... it seems like this summer has lasted 9 months already! I'm tired of hanging in the house...I'm gonna run out of Britbox shows to watch 🤣 How are you keeping busy in this "heatwave" of a summer??

So many projects coming...
I've "sewn myself into a corner", so to speak. 🤣😂 I have so many projects/patterns going at once, that my chaise corner of the couch has piles of half sewn things, stacks of fabrics, pattern templates and spools of thread all around me! The dog is NOT happy!

But, but, but...it's more comfortable on the couch, than sitting in the studio! The studio is for printing, gluing, painting and finishing! Hopefully, the next place we move to, has a bigger studio space and I can have a chaise or couch in there too!! 🩶

How about you? Do you create in the livingroom and make "happy stacks" all around you??

Hopefully I'll have finished things to post soon! I have at least 7 different patterns working at the moment!! Pigs and pumpkins and snowmen and stockings and scarecrows....eeeek! 😄

Taking the time to slow stitch a patch onto my summer blankie. Just winging it. This linen blanket has had a rip in it for a few months, and it kept getting bigger...so finally took care of it. The back even turned out pretty cute too! The pink fabric was a scrap of a blouse of mine, that I altered. You can see in the last pic, there are other worn sections that will need patches soon too! Fun fun! A blanket of memories...that's what it'll be. 😉

It's my light summer lap blanket, on the couch. I always have to cover myself with something. Am I the only one?? My husband thinks I'm blanket nuts! He just doesn't understand... I LOVE a good soft, cuddly blankie! 🩶

Ok, back to pattern sewing! It's supposed to "feel like" 106 degrees here today ...ugh! Stay cool everyone! 🥵

P.S. FYI - I used Pilot Frixion pens to make a few random guidelines. The pen lines disappear when you iron them! 😉 And they're easier to see than pencil, on a lot of fabrics!
