I knew from the start I was going to get hurt, and I went willingly. This story was absolute perfection. The time period, the set-up, the pacing, the subject matter. Every single piece of this puzzle was handled with care. The journey of self-discovery, self-love and acceptance. The story of an aunt that loves her niece as part of herself. The love story of two brilliant women being oppressed by a closed-minded society while they fight for their inherent right to love one another and shatter glass ceilings. A love story between humanity and earth.
TJR sees the world in such a unique way and breathes new life into mundane, everyday things.
This entire work of writing was thoughtfully and lovingly created and it will remain lodged in my chest forever.
