Think of the Warren Ellis 5 as a fusion of the tenor baritone (tuned C-G-D-A) and the tenor (tuned G-D-A-E). It goes low and high, tuned in fifths, with a 26" scale. There's not a lot out there like it, and especially not for this price!

While Gibson originally offered the Explorer as a futuristic design, it became most popular around hard rock and metal musicians in the 70s and 80s. The Eastwood Guitars Adventurer, licensed by Gibson, reimagines this groundbreaking body shape as a four string tenor guitar!

If mandocellos were invented in the 21st century, they might be a little like this Warren Ellis Mandocello! It combines traditional folk instrument roots with a rockin' solid body electric guitar.

Think of the Model S Mandocello like a "12 string" version of a tenor baritone guitar. Tuned C-G-D-A low to high, with octave pairs on the C, G, and D strings. Add the familiar S-style electronics setup and you've got a cool instrument with a huge sound!

The Model S Octave Mando pairs the range of a tenor guitar with the rich, full sound of octave strings, creating textures that simply aren't possible on a standard 4-string instrument. It's great for filling up space in an arrangement!

If you could magically combine a mandolin with an electric guitar, you'd get something like the Warren Ellis Mandostang. With just four strings instead of eight, this thing is easy to play, easy to tune, and ready to shred. 🤘
