Y'all...I screwed up! Full transparency...August has been a *bit* overwhelming for me. No particular reason, just a lot of little reasons! I know you can relate...
Anyhooooo...I forgot to invite you all to Sip and Share last night! 😫As I sat there at 7:08 going, "Where is everyone??" I realized that although I had posted all the dates, I still must actually INVITE people so that it's on their radar! 🙃🤪🤦♀️
Thankfully, Lynn and Ginger both remembered (since they are family, they are obligated 😆), and even though we got a late start, we had a lovely discussion about "Raising Hare" by Chloe Dalton, that Ginger wasn't sure about, but is actually enjoying, "A Haunting on the Hill," by Elizabeth Hand, which is the first-ever novel authorized to return to the world of Shirley Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House, that Bethann is finding delightfully creepy to listen to on Libro.fm, and Lynn's reaction to "Theo of Golden," which she finished too late for book club, but loved nonetheless, although she is ready for something a little lighter!
I am taking the rest of August to reset, but will be posting the new book club selection, date and time for September shortly! And, I promise to invite you all to the next Sip and Share! Thanks for your grace and continued support!
