This is why we do what we do. 💚 Earlier this year, Hatching Time had the amazing opportunity to donate a CT120 incubator to Ava of The Cluckity Homestead and she has certainly put it to work!
Since receiving it, Ava has been hatching nearly nonstop, expanding her quail projects and even helping other 4-H members hatch their own eggs. She’s seen improved hatch rates with her Bobwhites and is now exploring different breeds of quail for her latest self-determined 4-H project.
But the exciting news doesn’t stop there. Ava was recently selected for the State 4-H Innovator Award for sharing her passion and knowledge of quail and inspiring others in her community. She was the only teenager selected among this year’s three recipients and the first person from her county to receive an award at the state level. 🏆
We couldn’t be more excited to see young poultry keepers like Ava learning, experimenting, sharing their knowledge and inspiring the next generation.
