It’s been a while, and there are quite a few new faces at Prodigy, so I figured I’d introduce myself.
Hi! I’m Sarah, the owner/operator of Prodigy. First and foremost—I am a trainer. 💙💜
My background is in Sports Medicine. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Elon University and my Master’s degree in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania. I’m also a NATA-BOC board Certified Athletic Trainer and a NASM Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist.
I’ve spent around 20 years working in the fitness, athletic training, and wellness world, and the last 15 years building Prodigy into the place it is today (with much help and support).
While owning a small business means I wear a lot of hats (administrator, cleaner, marketer, problem solver, etc 😂), personal training is a huge part of my day-to-day life.
I currently work with around 20 personal training clients each week, helping people get stronger, move better, improve their health, work through limitations, and feel more confident in what their bodies can do.
My Sports Medicine background is a big part of how I approach training. I love understanding why someone is having difficulty with a movement, figuring out what their body needs, and finding ways to help them move safely and effectively.
The people are why I enjoy what I do so much.
I love getting to know my clients, figuring out what works for their bodies and their lives, celebrating the victories, and watching them do things they once thought they couldn’t.
That’s really what Prodigy has always been about—people, movement, health, and quality of life.
So whether you see me teaching a class, working one-on-one with a client, or doing the stuff that comes with owning a business… know that I’m still doing the thing I love most:
Helping people become their strongest, healthiest selves. 💪🏽
