Ex Train kid/“junkie”/un housed, shuffled from institutions and shelters/graffiti artist, who has been incarcerated in literally every jail New Orleans has built, standing here with a fulfilling life which i had previously burnt to the ground doing what they said I couldn’t do on my own. I also just received my first of Craig Lewis Books. It’s called the “Craig Lewis guide to surviving the impossible” It is used as core curriculum and in workshops in many places around the world. This is the new Punk Rock, Mental Health & Recovery Page. “You’re Crazy” and “You’re Crazy II” Also it’s a safe place for ex street kids or anyone who has been affected by Trauma, Substance use disorder, cope with mental illness or all three, and are trying to better themselves and change our negative core beliefs that tell us “You’re Crazy”, core beliefs that people we were supposed to love and trust the most, left us discarded, abandoned and abused. Most left us to suffer in pain like we were subhuman and left us suffering with, instead of confidence and self love; trauma and core beliefs that tell us every day we were never deserved to be loved. We are Punks in Recovery. We survived when it would have been easier to have died. We believe in peer support, harm reduction and radical Mental Health. We've expected to die for so long that we embrace the gift of still being alive.
