🐝 Well… I may have been a little quiet on the basket front this summer, but I promise I haven’t been sitting around twiddling my thumbs! 😂

Life has been BUSY this summer—and truthfully, I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️ Between everything going on, I haven’t had nearly as much time to make gift baskets as I normally would.

But apparently I don’t know how to just not make things… so I used the little free time I had to learn some new basket-making skills. 😂 From upcycling and transforming baskets to actually MAKING my own basket bases, I’ve been experimenting with ways to make my baskets a little more unique.

And this one?! 🐝🍯💛

I MADE THE BASE! 🙌

Then I filled it with all kinds of bee-utiful goodies to create this cozy honey-and-bee-themed gift.

One thing I've really been focusing on is making as much of the gift basket reusable as possible. I mean… it’s called a gift basket, so why shouldn't the basket itself be part of the gift too?! 😉

No tossing the container in the trash after all the goodies are gone. Reuse it for storage, towels, bathroom goodies, craft supplies, snacks—or whatever else you can dream up.

My goal is simple:

The goodies are a gift.
The basket is a gift.
The whole darn thing is a gift. 😂💛

And I have to say…

I think I nailed this one. 🔨🐝

I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! 💛🍯

What do you think—would you reuse the basket afterward? And more importantly… who is my fellow bee-lover out there?! 🐝

This summer has been a whirlwind! Trying to find time to work on baskets has been a struggle. I managed to get started on this one. It's not finished yet but it is coming along nicely.
