Yes....it is just grocery shopping and not rocket science. But when I'm shopping for a client, it isn't "just" grocery shopping to me. It's SERVICE!

When someone trusts me enough to spend their hard-earned money to have me shop for their groceries, so much more goes into it than "just" grocery shopping. It involves communication, common sense, finding the best & freshest produce available, checking for the latest expiration dates, shopping & bagging correctly so items are delivered at the same temperature that they were when they were taken off the grocery store shelves, packing the bags according to temperature & not too heavy for the client to carry, leaving a neat presentation at the door, helping bring everything in (if needed or wanted), friendliness, kindness & appreciation.

I appreciate my clients SO much, and I want them to know that when they receive my deliveries! 💞

When I was an Instacart shopper during the pandemic, I would pop up out of bed at 4am every morning to read my customer's comments from the previous day. They always meant so much to me (and still do!!), and motivated me to get up to go out there and do it again.

Did you know that when you order your groceries through one of those National grocery delivery apps, that you are paying up to a 30% markup above the actual store cost? And yes...EVEN WHEN YOU PICKUP CURBSIDE!!

That is IN ADDITION TO...
💰 Heavy Pay Fees- when you order cases of water, multiple fridge packs, or your order goes over a certain weight.
💰 Alcohol Fees- when you order alcohol (or even some cold medicines!), they charge a fee to have the Shopper verify your ID. This fee depends on how much alcohol you order. I've seen fees as high as $20!
💰 Platform Fees, Processing Fees, and Monthly Fees, if you choose to have a subscription to lower some of these fees!! 🤦‍♀️

And after all of that...
you still aren't guaranteed to get a good Shopper!

When I set the pricing for my business, I wanted it to be as SIMPLE as possible & as INEXPENSIVE as possible for my clients, and there is absolutely no markup on the groceries you order. In fact, the store receipt will be in with your groceries.

I'll tell you...this blue wagon of mine has worked it's b***y off for the past 2 years. Through the scorching Florida summer heat, downpours of rain during the rainy season, and more cases of water & beverages from Sam's, BJ'S and Costco than I care to remember.

But THIS 👇👇👇 cargo (my first grandchild), and this particular load (the first overnight with my beautiful granddaughter, Justice Lauren, and all her paraphernalia) is the one that I'll remember forever!! 💞❤

I started doing Instacart almost 2 years ago, after the pandemic hit and I wasn't able to work the job that I had been doing. It was literally my very first day when I had a customer say to me for the first time, "I wish I could get you every time". After a while, hearing more & more customers say the same thing, and at the same time, realizing how much I enjoyed shopping for others, I hoped that one day I would find a way where I was able to start my OWN shopping & delivery business, so that they CAN get me every time. About 6 months ago, I discovered Dumpling, and I was able to do just that!

As much as I am thankful to Instacart for allowing me the opportunity to make a living during that difficult time for us all, I'm just as thankful to Dumpling for allowing me to now do it MY WAY!!

I am proud to now be a small business owner, and just as proud to be able to help & serve my neighbors in this community that I love so much!! ❤️

If you love...
● the convenience of having your groceries delivered
● the extra time that you have with your family by not having to go to the grocery store

Kimberly Goes Shopping doesn't JUST go shopping!! 😃

It's that time of year when families from around the country come down to visit our beautiful city. How nice it is for them to arrive, and not have to worry about getting to the grocery store right away, for all their essentials. Even if they arrive after Midnight, they can get a good night's sleep and get up the next morning to their favorite coffee & cereal! ☀️☕️🥣

Whether they're staying at an AirBNB, hotel/motel, or a cottage on the beach, I will...
✔️ Shop for all their groceries.
✔️ Put everything away.
✔️ Put fresh filtered water in the Keurig/coffee maker.
✔️ Adjust the a/c (if needed), so they don't walk into a hot home.
✔️ Put a stick of butter in the butter dish to soften.
✔️ Make sure the front porch light is on, if they'll be arriving after dark.
✔️ And anything else they'd like...

If you have family or friends coming for a visit this Summer, or you, yourself, will be bringing your family down to our little piece of paradise...keep me & my "Ready your Stay" service in mind! ❤
