The HORRORS PERSIST! 🫤

If you've tried reaching out to us via Etsy, please know we are doing EVERYTHING in our power to reply. Etsy has some serious damage control to do. I'm beyond frustrated.

We can be reached here, or by sending your email address via Etsy messaging so I can respond via email. Thank you all for your patience while I go to battle. Please feel free to share our plight as this is just plain rediculous and Etsy should be called out for it, IMHO. 🤔 Anyway, I haven't been able to make any progress in the past few weeks BUT were still able to make sales on Etsy we just can't message you about them on Etsy. I know.... Make it make sense. 😑

This is like the backrooms with a DIY theme.


Etsy responded yesterday saying they've reinstated our buying and selling permissions. The thing is.... Those were never an issue. And we still cannot message our customers. We've tried!

With 7 help requests in and one flimsy confirmation that they 'fixed it', I present to you....

They in fact, did NOT fix it. But... Someone from Etsy will "email us soon!" 🤔 🙃

HEY Etsy, ARE YOU OK?.... 'Cause I know I'm pretty fed up and I'm bringing the receipts.

For two months now, my Etsy messenger has been shut off' by mistake', according to Etsy support. After four separate help inquiries that were left unresolved, I'm taking this plight to the interwebs. Since there seems to be no way to reach anyone at Etsy to assist the members who create the content they profit from, I'm letting the public in on the tea - Etsy has inadvertently sabotaged my sales during my busiest season, and when notified about it, they've completely blown off our requests to restore our communication ability.

My goal is simply to be able to message my customers. If that cannot be done, I want HeartSpark fans to know IT'S NOT US —it's Etsy—and we are trying everything we can to restore our ties to our beloved 'Sparks. Until then, please feel free to nudge and share this with to ask what is going on.

Thank you for your patience while we wait for a resolution and shop for new sales platforms that haven't lost sight of their creators' well-being. I'd love to hear from any artists who have left Etsy for another platform, where you landed, and any insights on the experience, because it just SUCKS and is very disappointing to watch my hard work circle the drain without anyway to pull a reign.

So, here are the receipts. I am also adding more images of our communications as they roll in. Fingers crossed I can respond to customer messages again soon!

Recently, we have experienced persistent technical difficulties with the Etsy messaging platform that have prevented us from receiving and responding to your inquiries. PLEASE KNOW that I would never intentionally ignore any messages from our beloved 'Sparks. It is deeply important to me that your questions regarding sizing, shipping, and customizations are answered, and I am actively working to resolve these connectivity issues with Etsy support as quickly as possible.

While we work through this, I want to ensure you have a direct way to reach us. If you have been waiting for a response, please accept my sincere apologies for the silence. I AM HERE and eager to assist you.

For all NEW INQUIRIES: Please reach out to us directly via email at [email protected], or send us a direct message on our social media channels. Please avoid using Etsy messaging during this time, as our ability to access it remains restricted.

For CUSTOMERS with ACTIVE ORDERS: I will be reaching out to you proactively at the email address associated with your order to confirm details and provide status updates.

This situation has BEEN BEYOND challenging, and it has prompted me to explore more reliable platforms, such as Squarespace or Wix, to ensure you receive the seamless experience you deserve. While we navigate these changes, OUR SHOP WILL REMAIN OPEN on Etsy, and I appreciate your patience and continued support more than words can say.

Sales on Etsy are unaffected and purchases CAN still be made, I just cannot reply to any questions messaged via Etsy messaging.

Thank you for being such an integral part of the HeartSpark Collective journey, and I look forward to getting back to MAKING fun things in the studio and not constantly running IT support for a company that I put blind faith in to support HeartSpark as we bring color to your worlds.

Sparks! I am sending a massive shout out to Nate Whiting, The Accidental Poet and his amazing talents as a poet and author.

He connected with me here at HeartSpark Collective with a request: something bright, colorful, and WARM to outfit himself and his family/crew for his book tour. Naturally, our ICONIC Christmas Tree Ultimate Fleece hoodies were a perfect fit!

Nate and his crew donned their HeartSpark hoodies throughout their tour and were kind enough to share some pics of them in the wild!

In addition to his marvelous 'whimsies,' he also published a beautiful Christmas book that my own daughter absolutely loved.
