Another creative and colorful genius has moved on from this earth 🌈⚫️ I will love and cherish my times with Yayoi Kusama’s work - at the Hirshhorn in 2017 when I lived in DC. And during our babymoon on Naoshima Island with Charlie in my belly 🌙 I frequently reference Yayoi’s work when I’m looking to feel inspired as I think about shapes, colors, and whimsy. She did it all so well. I lived reading that she was painting right up until her final few days. A true artist, through and through. Pure magic!
