Dorothy followed the Yellow Brick Road looking for answers.
What she discovered was that courage, wisdom, and power were never waiting for her at the end of the journey.
They were already hers.
I relate to that.
Building Khandie Woo has felt a lot like walking my own Yellow Brick Road. Every collection, every setback, every breakthrough led me closer to trusting my vision and embracing what made me different.
So when I created these frames inspired by Dorothy’s iconic ruby slippers for the Great American Hat Show I wasn’t thinking about a costume.
I was thinking about transformation.
About the people bold enough to wear their story.
About those who choose self-expression over fitting in.
Because sometimes the magic isn’t finding your way home.
It’s finding yourself.
And if you’re going to follow your own Yellow Brick Road...
You might as well do it in style. ✨👓❤️
