The Unconscious in Translation [UITBooks.com] has published two books by Dominique Scarfone. As the General Editor of UIT Books and as Dominique's friend, I am proud to congratulate him on the glowing review of his book Laplanche: An Introduction in the latest IJP (the June issue).
Avgi's review is really more book essay than review as it makes its own contribution to introducing the thinking of both Laplanche and Scarfone. Her essay begins:
