Artists & Fleas is a collective retail experience committed to community, discovery and delight in shopping – featuring art, design, fashion and vintage from 150+ independent merchants. At Artists & Fleas, independent artisan businesses gain access to brick and mortar retail space and shoppers discover emerging talent. Working across photography, printmaking, and textiles, Ha Neul On transforms personal imagery into quilted cyanotype tapestries that bridge tradition and contemporary art. Inspired by the Korean quilting practice of jogakbo, each piece weaves together memory, craftsmanship, and storytelling into striking textile works.

Our first-ever Community in Residence Program launches next weekend in Williamsburg. We’re excited to bring this vision to life alongside violet | phoenix, a Brooklyn-based artist & curator who brought together a dynamic group of artists & presses for the exhibition Vessel.

This one’s for our denim lovers 👖Join us this Saturday as MERICA LEE JEANS NYC pops up to give your new (or most-loved) pair of jeans the perfect fit. Got a pair that’s been begging for some love? Bring ‘em by - let’s get them repaired and ready to rejoin your weekly rotation.

How it works:
- Drop in anytime: Saturday, 8/29 from 11 AM to 6 PM.
- Bring in your own denim, or a pair you purchased at the market.
- Merica Lee will do a fitting on-site as well as a quote for the tailoring and repair services. Repairs start at $10; alterations start at $25.
- Leave your jeans with her and pick them up in Greenpoint in about two weeks.
- Feel great in your perfect denim!

At Artists & Fleas we’re obsessed with two things: building community and supporting emerging artists & makers. That’s why we’re launching the Community in Residence Program at Artists & Fleas West in Williamsburg.

Kicking off September 4th, we’re turning our space into a playground for the culturally curious (yes, that means you). Our first residency will be hosting the gallery experience The Body and Other Vessels for Change curated by violet | phoenix and featuring 10+ emerging artists, on-site tattoos, and enough zines from Quimby’s and friends to keep you browsing all afternoon.

Come hang, get inspired, and find your new favorite artist. See you there.
