A simple piece of scrap wood, a rice paper, a cabinet handle, and a few wooden beads came together to create this one-of-a-kind “Mama” purse decor. The image was decoupaged onto the wood, a repurposed cabinet pull became the handle, and wooden beads were added as little purse feet. I love finding creative ways to turn everyday materials into something charming and unique. Sometimes the best projects start with items that were headed for the scrap pile!

Much of my art is inspired by the nature around my home and garden. I’ve intentionally planted flowers and greenery to attract butterflies, bees, and birds, creating a peaceful space filled with movement, color, and life. Many of the florals, birds, and nature themes in my designs begin as moments I’ve photographed or experienced right outside my door. 🌸🦋🐦
