The figs are back but the tree is taller so it is very hard to reach he ripe ones - for me - not the birds, who are feasting with abandon. And they’ve told all their friends which makes for great birdwatching. Not so much for jam making. I need a very tall ladder.

Happy Camper My happy place and clearly the same for 200+ other people ages 0-90. It’s the last of a hundred jams, 12 workshops, many incredible concerts. An extraordinary community

Wisteria usually bloom in April or May - one my favorite memories of Sarah Lawrence College is walking through the wisteria colonnade in the spring. SO seeing them bloom in August is scary. As are the fall leaves behind them. Nature is VERY confused

Zinnias are the first flowers I remember planting as a kid. They still give me a thrill. They grow from seeds Easy and fast !

From a performance at the new to visiting the with my old pal to teaching floral design 21 teenage girls after their HS graduation🤪on a Central Park South rooftop to last nights wonderful gala honoring the amazing woman Alexa Aviles and longtime Hook Arts board chair Sam Sills. Going to NYPhil in Prospect Park in an hour where Tony giovannetti is doing the lighting. It all ends with fireworks
