Sober Prayers Book
This quote comes from Sober Prayers, a book I created for people in recovery who need something steady to hold onto when life feels overwhelming.
Sober Prayers is not about perfection or pretending everything is okay. It’s about meeting people exactly where they are. In early recovery. In long-term sobriety. In relapse prevention. In grief. In anxiety. In moments where staying sober feels heavy.
The book offers simple, grounding prayers written to calm the nervous system, restore hope, and remind you that addiction does not get the final word. Life does.
Alongside the book, Sober Prayers is also a living project. At SoberPrayers.org, we share free prayers on the blog so people can access support even if they can’t buy a book right now. The mission is to make sure no one feels alone, forgotten, or spiritually abandoned in recovery.
I support Sober Prayers because prayer, reflection, and intentional words can create moments of pause and safety. Sometimes that pause is the difference between relapse and staying grounded. Sometimes it’s just enough to get through the next hour.
Whether you read one prayer, bookmark a page, or return daily, this work exists to remind you that healing is possible and sobriety can be gentle, human, and full of grace.

You’re not alone. And you’re not done.
