Off the frame today!
I originally made this queen size top to be a practice piece for quilting.
Well, it turned into an audition piece for thread. We were looking at how the variegated thread would stitch out with a different color solid thread on the back. This was practice for a Statue of Liberty quilt that is in the quilting que’. The thread is going to be fantastic on the Legit Kit Statue of Liberty quilt.

A T-Shirt quilt that I quilted for a friend was delivered to the recipient of the gift last week.
It was a 40 year collection of shirts and bandanas from 40 years of themed family reunions.
It looks like it was a wonderful and absolutely moment of happiness! It was truly a joyous occasion. The joy and happiness can be seen on their faces.
It is nice to keep a part of family memories alive in quilts.
