A little fun fact about me that some of you may not know! 🧵✨
About seven years ago, I worked for an embroidery and screen printing company for 2–3 years. That job is actually what sparked my love for the clothing industry, eventually leading me to open my own boutique and begin creating custom apparel!
Embroidery has ALWAYS been something I’ve loved and wanted to pursue further.
In fact, about three years ago, I actually purchased my first embroidery machine and dabbled in it myself! Unfortunately, I quickly realized how limited that machine was in what I could create, so I eventually put it aside.
Between running my businesses, becoming a mom, and navigating Harvey’s health complications, sometimes certain dreams have to sit on the back burner.
But that doesn’t mean you forget about them. 🤎
Now that Harvey has turned two, I finally felt like it was the perfect time to invest in myself and expand my business into something I’ve been passionate about for years.
After purchasing my commercial embroidery machine, I’ve spent the last three months reteaching myself, researching, practicing, making mistakes, learning from them, and getting back into the swing of something I once loved being around every day.
So while embroidery might be a newer addition to my business, it’s certainly not something that’s new to me. 😉
I also want to give a HUGE shoutout to Designs By Bean for introducing me to an industry that I still love to this day. Especially Meghan Korf, who taught me so much during my time there. You probably had no idea just how much of an impact that experience would have on my future! 💕
And of course, a shoutout toHoopMaster - Embroidery Hooping System for being part of this exciting new chapter and making my embroidery journey that much better!
And Puttin' On The Stitch for the fun design they created!
Moral of the story? Not every new chapter is a new interest, and not every new beginning starts from scratch. Sometimes it’s a passion you’ve carried with you for years, finally getting its time to shine. 🤎
