'twas the night before Pumpkin Fest, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring...
except for me, getting last minute things ready as usual 🤦

PUMPKIN FEST starts tomorrow at Whitney's Farm 11am-5pm and runs every weekend thru Oct 25th, and with the exception of a couple dates, I'll be vending my creations there for the full run of the event.

The quintessential Autumn experience here we come 🙌

I've got pumpkins on the brain, so I put 'em on the paper 🎃

We'll be vending Whitney's Farm Pumpkin Fest every weekend Sept 19 thru Oct 25 and I'm wicked stoked... figured I'd whip a little somethin' up specific.

So I started the graphite drawing for a new Oracle card illustration tonight; ✨Pumpkin Patch✨.

a few pieces that headed out to their new homes this week 🥹
wild how things that started off as little sparks of ideas in my brain are off to become part of someones world.

I don't take it for granted 💜♾️

been working on a new batch of Glimmer pendants - expect a shop drop sometime in the next week or two....assuming I can get everything finished, photographed, and listed instead of immediately starting three more projects 😵‍💫🤦

what are you working on this week?

I started this in ink at the last event we vended, as a way to relax my brain back into illustration mode after dabbling in other things for a week or so.
It won't be an Oracle card, just its own thing.
the linework is definitely meditative for me.
Thinking of doing something a bit experimental with it when I get around to the painting stage.

I'm still not a huge fan of having my picture taken, as evidenced by this lovely grimace of a smile.
I was always a kid who loved making things and got stoked about collecting treasures.

not much has changed, except now I'm a grown up with a child of my own, a small business, and a whole lot more art supplies. Oh, and my plastic frog has morphed into a toad purse.

It's wild to think about this kid, and how much of this essence I've retained into adulthood.
Still making things.
Still getting stoked about weird little objects.
Still not entirely sure what to do when someone points a camera at me.
