I was asked to recreate Nellie’s Spring Party Dress, and this one definitely stretched my sewing skills a little! 🧵💕

Since I didn’t have a pattern to work from, I created my own from scratch. This floral version became my prototype—a chance to work through the design, proportions, and all those little details before recreating Nellie’s actual pink dress.

There were definitely some challenges along the way, but I’m especially happy with how the collar and finishing details came together. ❤️

Now that I have the pattern figured out, the pink version is next! 🌸

Duck, duck, goose… 🪿🧵

There’s something extra special about making something when you already know exactly where it’s going.

This little quilt is being made as a gift for a friend who recently welcomed a new baby. ❤️ A lot of cutting, piecing, quilting, and stitching goes into something like this—but knowing it will soon be wrapped around a little one makes every stitch worth it.
