Have you ever had that feeling where you just know you’re ready for a big change? When you can just feel it, without any question or concern?

There have been a few moments in my life where I’ve had that kind of crystal clarity, and I experienced one of them this fall.

Now, remember — I’ve been organizing and teaching about organizing for over twenty years. My big decisions typically involve vast research, detailed pro/con lists, and plenty of consideration.

But when I woke up one morning a few weeks ago and suddenly realized I was ready to retire fully from both organizing clients and teaching students — that was it! There was no hemming and hawing, options to consider, or calendars to map out. I just knew it was time.

It has been my honor and pleasure to educate and mentor so many talented businesswomen and businessmen over the years, and I’m grateful for the opportunity.

As of December 31, 2023, the Master Professional Organizer training program will no longer be available for purchase. Students have until September 30, 2024, to complete the program, when the Institute for Professional Organizers will officially close its doors.
