The first murder was a brother’s hand against his own blood — Cain and Abel, a tale as old as dirt. All these years later, we’re still spilling the same story in different names, different towns, different stages.

Box Monkey knows the blues of it: every soul’s got a spark, every life carries weight. We’re more alike than we let on, but we forget it in the noise, in the envy, in the hunger.

And when a life is cut short, the song of the world goes missing a note. Violence steals the music from us all. Compassion is the only way to keep the tune alive.
