I had the pleasure of meeting Brian Brian Haberman today at my Oak Ridge shop. He was searching for a #5-1/4 Stanley plane on my eBay store when he realized that he lived very close to my shop. He Googled me and gave me a call, so we made an appointment to meet this am. Coincidentally, I had just brought 16 rescued planes to my shop yesterday, and five of them were Stanley #5-1/4. Take a look at my awesome rescue of 15 planes that I picked up this morning. I got a call two weeks ago from a man in upstate NY who wanted to sell his collection of Stanley No 4's, 5's & 5-1/4's. In the first photos that he sent me, I wasn't too impressed because all the planes looked rusted and needed a good cleaning. After explaining that I can not sell them in that condition, to my surprise, he offered to clean every one of the planes up before meeting me. So we arranged to meet halfway in New Paltz, NY. which is about 1-1/2 hrs for both of us. A good transaction is when both parties leave satisfied & happy...and we were both 😃 😊

Now, the next few steps are to inventory, photograph, and then list on my eBay store @

JUST ARRIVED AND LISTED FOR SALE IS THIS FINE 100% COMPLETE STANLEY No. 45 COMBINATION PLANE, TYPE 8, 1907-08 IN ORIGINAL BOX WITH 18 CUTTERS, PLUS ALL ACCESSORIES. THE ROSEWOOD FENCE, TOTE & K**B ARE IN FINE CONDITION. It has all beading & cam stops, long & short rods, depth gauges, slitting cutters, plus the original screwdriver & instruction book. It also includes a 1903 Hurwood Tool Catalog. The Stanley Rule & Level skate has two patents, MAR 11,84 & JAN 22,95. It has the on fence, the Trade- 45-Mark, and the "B" casting mark.

THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE PLANE & IT IS READY TO FIND A GOOD HOME.

I purchased all these wonderful tools last week from a gentleman who was downsizing his tool inventory. As you can see there is a great selection of Stanley planes: No 2, two 3's, 4, 6, 7, & 8C plus three Stanley levels: 12",18", 24" and three Starret levels: 4", 6", 10". My mission now is to find new 🏡 homes where they will be cherished, used, and then past along to the next generation.

I just listed this classic Stanley No. 2 Type 8 plane made by Stanley in 1899-1902. It has long been a collector’s favorite, second only to the tiny Stanley No. 1 in its appeal among bench planes. The 7-24-88 is the only patent date found on the lateral adjustment lever. It measures just 7-1/2" L with a 6-3/4" L x 1-1/2″ iron. It It has been cleaned up gently to preserve its patina & integrity. The cutter has a Stanley Pat Apl 19.92 logo. The rosewood k**b is in fine condition. The black japanning is in very good condition. It has the name Stanley & patent date printed horizontally on the lateral adjustment lever.

I spent a couple of wonderful days this week celebrating my birthday. Today, we went to Mount Airy Casino, PA, for the day. We had a great time on the slots, and I even won $100, (birthday girl luck) and then off to the buffet where we went absolutely crazy, filling up our plates several times, everything was so delicious. On Thursday, my husband took me to Sandy Hook, the Highlands, for the day. It was so special, the weather was perfect and we just enjoyed being at the beach listening to the waves roll in and of course, people watching!! Then we had lunch at Bahrs Seafood Restaurant, our favorite Jersey shore destination, for a delicious fresh-caught seafood feast. Well, I can honestly say it's not so bad getting one year older if you are treated like you are a Queen !!! I'm ready for my next birthday ...BRING IT ON!!🎂🥳🎉🎈

Here, we have three extremely sought-after premium Stanley planes. A Stanley Bedrock No 608 Corrugated Type 5, Jointer, Ca 1911. A Stanley Bedrock No 606, Type 6, Jointer Ca 1911-21. A Stanley Sweetheart No 10-1/2 Carraige Makers plane Type 8-9, Ca 1899-1907. All of these planes came out of a collection that I purchased several years ago. It's time to find them good homes where they will be used and appreciated, then passed along to the next generation. It has been a special privilege to have been the caretaker of these very special planes for so many years. Time to find new 🏡 and make way for new rescues.

I'm in a "BLUE" MOOD!!! If you're a collector of vintage cobalt blue medicine bottles, then you need to come & check out all 40 of my NEW ARRIVALS...Vicks V***r Rub, Noxema, Briocki, Phillips Milk of Magnesia, Freeze-O Shaving Cream.
