Meet the Majestic Fountain Pen.

Some pens are tools. This one is treasure.

Hand-turned from kiln-dried Macassar Ebony, its body is inky black with bold swirling streaks of reddish-brown, like solidified midnight shot through with fire. Polished to a breathtaking near-metallic luster, the visual impact alone stops conversations cold.

But the wood is just the beginning. This pen wears 1.6 micron 22kt gold plating so rich and warm it practically radiates prestige, paired with hand-carved three-dimensional accents that drip with Old World craftsmanship. A Swarovski crystal sits at the tip of the clip, catching the light like a diamond.

A smooth-writing #6 nib delivers the perfect line every time, and a bottle of starter ink is included so you can put it to paper the moment it arrives. Every detail was designed to feel like it was commissioned by royalty: jeweler-quality hardware, one of the world's most exotic and coveted woods, and the perfect balance in your hand for an exceptional fountain pen writing experience.

This is the pen you pass down. The one that lives in the collector's vault. The one that gets noticed every single time you pull it out.

Some gifts say "thank you." This one says it in a way that will last a lifetime.

I recently had the privilege of making this custom pen for a Yale graduate who wanted to give her professor something truly meaningful. She didn't want a card or a gift card. She wanted something handmade, personal, and lasting.

The pen is hand-turned from blue dyed maple burl. The blue was a natural fit for Yale, and the burl grain does what burl grain does best -- no two pieces are ever alike. This one has a depth and movement to it that photos don't fully capture. The video gives you a much better sense of it.

This is the kind of project that reminds me why I love what I do. A student. A professor who made a difference. And a piece of wood that became the bridge between them.

If you've ever wanted a custom pen made for someone special - a mentor, a retiring colleague, a graduate, a spouse - I'd love to talk. These make extraordinary gifts, and every one is built around the person receiving it.

Drop a comment or send me a message to get started.

Just finished this commissioned rollerball for a fellow artist, and I couldn't be more proud of how it came out.

The blank is stabilized wood infused with deep blue and white resin, the kind of material where no two pens will ever look the same. This one has a beautiful flowing pattern where the wood grain and resin swirl together, finished with bright chrome hardware throughout.

Commission work is some of the most rewarding I do. There's something special about building a pen with a specific person in mind, something they'll use every day as part of their own creative process.

If you've been thinking about a custom pen, for yourself, as a gift, or for a fellow creative in your life, reach out and let's talk. Every pen I make is one of a kind.
