This picture right here is one of my favorite things about owning and operating a local small business…community. Our neighboring business came in and brought these treasures from their own garden. We then proceeded to have just incredible heartfelt and inspirational conversation.
I get the convenience of big box stores, I still use them, but oh man are there some amazing people, stories and encounters waiting to be had at your local small business. I challenge you this week to stop somewhere maybe you haven’t or haven’t in awhile, that is run by someone local. If you need a suggestion, 155 NJ 50 has some great ones to checkout. 😉 💗

Sending them off to college comes with a lot of big feelings. 🤍 Excitement for everything ahead, pride in who they’re becoming…and that little tug on your heart as you help them create a home away from home.

🍋💛 Our community has an opportunity to show up for one of our own.

We’re honored to be selling Finn’s Lemonade tote bags at The Curated Heart in support of Finn’s Summer Splash: Love & Lemonade.

Finn is part of our local community and is raising awareness and support for Nephrotic Syndrome, a kidney disorder that affects the kidneys’ ability to properly filter the blood and can cause significant swelling and other complications. For children and families navigating it, treatment and ongoing care can become a very real part of everyday life.

The bags are $15 each, with 100% going toward this cause. The Curated Heart takes no commission. We’re simply happy to help Finn and his family however we can. 💛

Can I be completely honest with you? I (Mariluz) am in the shop today sipping on an iced coffee that may or may not be (it definitely is) an iced pumpkin spice cold brew. I know, I know…I can hear the protests of those not ready to switch to fall and I get it. After all, I am a summer baby, tomorrow being my birthday, but I also love crisp fall days. That being said, retail loves to rush the seasons, but I didn’t want to do that yet. Seasonal fall is on the way at the shop, but we are holding on to summer a little longer. If you are a summer girlie who also loves fall and a pumpkin spice something, you are my people. Hope this image of a bikini clad pumpkin on the beach drinking an iced coffee makes you smile. Some of the most meaningful things in our shop didn’t come from a warehouse—they began at someone’s kitchen table, with a heart to encourage others.

This beautiful collection from Oil of Joy, handcrafted by our very own Beatrice, is one of those collections. From thoughtful journals and Bible study kits to our faith-filled Blind Date with a Book bundles, every piece is created with care, purpose, and the hope that it brings a little encouragement to the person who takes it home.

Choosing to shop local is about so much more than buying a product. It’s about investing in your neighbors, celebrating creativity, and helping small dreams continue to grow. Every purchase tells a local maker, “What you create matters.” That kind of support is something we never take for granted.

✨ More time to stop in, browse, and be inspired!

We’re so excited to announce our new store hours!

Beginning this week, The Curated Heart is now open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM–5 PM.

We’ve added Tuesdays and are opening one hour earlier each day because we want to make it easier for you to visit, explore what’s new, and enjoy everything happening in the shop.

There have been so many exciting changes around here lately, and we can’t wait to share them with you. Every visit helps support local makers, small businesses, and the creative community we’re building together.

Thank you for being part of this journey. We truly look forward to welcoming you through our doors.
