I’ve been busy in my free time spring cleaning and sprucing up the home. Need to clear some build up to see clearly and get more inspiration to create. This is my first vertical clove hitch knot project. Thanks to my lovely and talented, long time friend for inspiring me to use this knot and asymmetric design. I love the clean finished lines. It kind if looks like a weave but it’s a knot!
I can’t wait to see it hanging in her beautiful home!

I’m so excited to be able to finally share how this piece came out and the story behind it!
A dear friend of mine was married in October of 2019 in Coachella Valley. I had the great honor of making her an archway adorned in Macrame where she and her husband would exchange their vows. It was the most beautiful sight to whiteness. Since then they have had a few great milestones a marriage brings like, purchasing a new home, expecting a baby boy and soon becoming parents!
I have been wanting to create something special for their brand new home. So last year when we visited Joshua Tree for the first time I thought it would be so meaningful to create a Macrame piece for them on a Joshua Tree branch, since they are significant to the area where they proclaimed their love amongst their family and friends. Well I managed to find the perfect branch and here it is... adorned with a beautiful charcoal grey cotton cord!It felt so good to deliver it yesterday and see the look on her face!! She has the perfect place for it in the babies nursery. Thank you .sprague and for inspiring me to create this for you and your growing family!!♥️
