Get hooked magic baits

After months of work, we finally got the mold in — say hello to the Swamp Fork Stick! 🐊

That forked tail kicks different on every single retrieve, which means this thing fishes a dozen different ways. Flip it, Texas rig it, Carolina rig it, wacky rig it — however you want to throw it, it's moving and the fish can't leave it alone.

And here's the kicker (literally) — once your Swamp Fork Stick gets worn down, don't toss it! Break it in half and use that forked back end as a trailer on a jig, jackhammer, whatever you're throwing. Those two little kicker tails make it one of the best trailer baits you'll find. One bait, two lives. 💪

First color out the gate is Cajun Candy — more colors coming soon.

Come grab some at Get Hooked Bait and Tackle before they're gone! 🎣

There's a reason it's been in tackle boxes for decades. It's simple, it's versatile, and it flat out catches fish. Here are just a few ways to fish it:

🐍 Weightless: twitch it across the top so it swims like a snake
🎯 Texas rig: punch it into grass and heavy cover
🪝 Wacky rig: let it shimmy on the fall
⚓ Carolina rig or drop shot: work those deeper spots
🏠 Skip it: slide it way back under docks and overhanging brush

The subtle action doesn't spook pressured fish, which makes it a go-to when the bite gets tough.

Stop by Get Hooked Bait and Tackle to grab some trick worms and the right hooks, and we'll show you how we're rigging them right now. Questions? Give us a call at (407) 347-3072! 👊

They walk in holding a $1,500 rod. Then they pick up one of ours.

Every time it's the same reaction — the balance, the action, how far it casts. They can't believe what they're holding didn't cost them fifteen hundred bucks.

That's because every rod that leaves our hands is 100% custom built. Every groove. Every cut. Every wrap of thread. Every guide. Nothing off an assembly line — just hours of hands-on craftsmanship built to perform like the best rods on the market, without the price tag to match.

We've got custom rods ready to grab in-store, or we'll build one to your exact specs. Come feel the difference for yourself.

New build, ready for the water. 🎣

That marbled wrap you see up top isn’t just for looks — it’s a hand-poured resin finish, and it goes on a spinning rod that’s headed straight for the boat. This one’s built to work, not just look good sitting on a rack — it’ll be out on Florida Bass Charter trips putting in real time on real fish.

Every rod I build gets the same attention to detail, whether it’s going home with a customer or riding on my own boat. Quality doesn’t change based on who’s holding it.

Come see it in action on a trip, or stop by Get Hooked Bait and Tackle to check out the builds in person. 🎣

Every rod I sell now comes from my own two hands — no shortcuts, no mass production. This baitcaster is the latest build, and it’s the same process I use on every rod: hand-selected blank, quality components, and hours of wrapping and finishing to get it right.

If you’ve fished with a store-bought rod and wondered why it just doesn’t feel right — this is why. Custom-built means it’s balanced, it’s tuned, and it’s built to perform, not just built to sell.

Come check them out in person at Get Hooked Bait and Tackle, or grab one online at Get Hooked Magic Baits. 🎣

My bait shop is proud to be part of this one alongside the Windermere Police Department. Three age groups — Tiny Bobbers, Little Bobbers, and Junior Bobbers — each with their own winners! And for ages 7 to 17, there’s the chance to head out on the water in boats with captains and officers.

📅 Saturday, September 19th | 8 AM – 12 PM | Windermere, FL

Free for the kids, with an optional $1 raffle for a fishing combo — every dollar helps us keep bringing events like this to the community!

This community is why we do what we do, and there’s nothing better than watching a kid’s first bite turn into a lifelong love for fishing. Can’t wait to bring that same magic to this event.

🎣🚔 COPS AND BOBBERS IS BACK — and it’s our last event of the year!

Get Hooked Bait and Tackle is teaming up with the Windermere Police Department once again for one of our favorite days of the year, and we want the whole community out here for it!

This one’s all about the kids — ages 3 to 17 — split into three age groups so everyone gets an experience that fits them:
🐟 Tiny Bobbers (3-6) — fishing from the shoreline with WPD
🐟 Little Bobbers (7-10)
🐟 Junior Bobbers (11-17) — and 7 to 17 year olds even get the chance to head out on the water in boats alongside our captains and officers!

Got a favorite rod and reel? Bring it along! Don’t have one? No worries at all — we’ve got you covered.

📅 Saturday, September 19th | 8 AM – 12 PM | Windermere, FL

We’ll kick things off in downtown Windermere, head out to the fishing area for the main event, then come back for prizes, games, and giveaways to wrap up the day.

The event itself is completely FREE — the only thing that isn’t is our $1 raffle ticket for a chance to win an awesome fishing combo, and that’s totally optional. All it does is help us keep putting these events on for the community year after year!

We're bringing the Magic to Cops and Bobbers! 🎣✨

Get Hooked Magic Baits is proud to be part of this year's Cops and Bobbers event with Windermere PD — our last kids' fishing event of the season, September 19th. It's FREE for the kids, ages 3 to 17, and full of prizes, fishing games, giveaways, and a $1 raffle for a fishing combo.

This community is why we do what we do, and there's nothing better than watching a kid's first bite turn into a lifelong love for fishing. We can't wait to bring that same magic to this event and share it with the next generation of anglers.

More details coming over the next couple weeks — stay tuned, and hope to see you all out there! 🎣
