🌬️Join us on Saturday, October 24 at 11:00am with author Sara Laux Akin for her new picture book, THE GEYSER SISTERS: A TALE FROM THE ARCTIC CIRCLE, in which two sisters live in harmony with and protect a geyser in this modern folktale woven together through luminous collage art from Caldecott Honor winner Micha Archer.

🌬️We will have a story time and talk about the book, a short video about the art, questions, and collage activities for kids while adults talk to Sara🇮🇸

Guests who would like to donate an extra copy may place it in the designated donation box available at the event. Donated books will be shared with young readers in the local community by Bernie’s Book Bank.

📗Books & Company, Boswell Books, and the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts present an evening event with author Ariel Lawhon at the Wilson Center in Brookfield on Monday, September 14 at 7:00pm. She will be in conversation with Paula McLain, author of SKYLARK.

📗Lawhon will be visiting for her new novel, THE PIRATE QUEEN, a sweeping historical adventure inspired by the life of Grace O'Malley, the legendary Irish folk heroine who risked everything to defend her people.☘️🧭⚓
