⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ PLEASE STILL NO VISITORS OTHER THAN FAMILY AT THIS TIME ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

What a ride it’s been… Cutting Amber has now been transferred to Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Some of you are unaware that she does have a tumor that they are concerned about. The doctors thought it was too risky to move forward and she needed to be somewhere that specializes in everything that she’s going through. She still needs all the continued prayers not only for peace, wisdom for the new team of doctors, specialists, nurses, as well as her family, especially her amazing Mama Kathy Mattox Whisenhunt. The plan as of now is to have surgery today if not tomorrow. She will have a PICC Line in for at least two months. She will have to have daily IV’s to make sure this is gone for good.

As most of you know Amber is stubborn and doesn’t want to ask for help. Although she is very humbled and beyond grateful for all the donations that she has already received she still feels bad asking for anything. This is where I myself as a friend will continue to ask because she’s going to need all the help she can get. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her and will be out of work for quite sometime. Her only focus needs to be on getting better. Regardless, the bills don’t pause and still need to be paid. Her kiddos need their mama back healthy and strong. I want to get some raffles going. So if anyone has any ideas or items they are willing to donate please reach out to me. If you haven’t already donated and would like to you can send them to the platforms in the comments.

I myself want to personally say Thank You from the bottom of my heart for everyone that has already donated, reached out, and sent prayers! God hears each and every one of them!

Update ❤️

First, some really encouraging news… my white blood cell count has dropped from 26,000 to 17,500! That is a HUGE improvement, and I’m so thankful to finally be moving in the right direction.

Yesterday I had another CT scan, and it showed a tumor underneath my right armpit. The plan was for me to have surgery today, but once I was in pre-op, the doctors decided it was beyond their level of expertise.

Because of that, I’m being transferred to baylor scott in Plano, where a specialized surgical team will be able to remove it safely and send it off for testing.

While this definitely wasn’t the update I expected today, I’m choosing to focus on the progress my body is making. My infection is improving, my numbers are heading in the right direction, and I’m trusting God with every step of this journey.

Please continue praying for safe travel, wisdom for my new medical team, a successful surgery, and for good results from the testing. I can’t thank you all enough for the love, prayers, and support you’ve shown me through all of this. It means more than you’ll ever know. ❤️
