Knowing I already have so much soap ready for my event next week has made it a little easier to focus on everything else that needed my attention.

But today I finally got a chance to make some more, and let me just say… these ones are extra cute! 👀✨

I’ve been working tirelessly behind the scenes getting everything made, stocked, and ready for next week’s event! 🧼✨

And with that comes some EXCITING NEWS! 🎉

I’ll officially be launching my 9.5 oz Whipped Foaming Scrubs at this event! 🫧🤍

These are the BIGGER size of my whipped foaming scrubs, and I’m so excited to finally have them ready for you! I’ve been working hard to get everything prepared, and I can’t wait for you to see them in person.

🧼 DID YOU KNOW?

When Pure Glow by A.S first started making soap, I offered melt & pour soaps!

Melt & pour soap is a pre-made soap base that has already gone through the saponification process. I would melt the base, add my fragrance, colors, and other goodies, pour it into molds, and let it harden. It’s a great way to learn the basics of soap making and create beautiful soaps without having to work directly with lye.

But as I learned more about soap making, I wanted to take the next step…

✨ Now, Pure Glow by A.S. offers ONLY cold process soap! ✨

Cold process soap is made completely from scratch using oils/butters, water, and sodium hydroxide (lye). The lye reacts with the oils through a process called saponification, turning those ingredients into actual soap. Each batch is formulated, mixed, colored, fragranced, poured, and then allowed to cure for several weeks before it’s ready for you.

So what’s the difference?

Melt & Pour 🫧
• Starts with a pre-made soap base
• No handling lye during the soap-making process
• Can be used once it has hardened
• Great for beginners and creative soap designs

Cold Process 🧼
• Made from scratch
• Oils, butters, water, and lye are carefully measured and combined
• Requires proper handling and safety precautions
• Needs several weeks to cure
• Gives me much more control over the recipe and ingredients

Neither method is “bad” — they’re simply two different ways of making soap!

For Pure Glow, I decided that cold process soap was the direction I wanted to take my business. It gives me the opportunity to formulate my own recipes and continue learning and improving my craft with every batch. 🤍

And yes… those original melt & pour soaps were a pretty important part of the journey! ✨

🧼 Goat Milk Soap
My cold process goat milk soaps are handmade in small batches and need several weeks to cure before they’re ready for you. That curing time helps create a harder, longer-lasting bar!

🫧 Foaming Scrub
My foaming scrub gives you exfoliation + cleansing in one! You get the exfoliating benefits of a scrub while also creating a soft, foamy lather as you use it. Perfect for an exfoliate than shave kind of day!

🏡 Room Spray
A little goes a LONG way! My room sprays are made to give you a strong burst of fragrance without needing to spray half the bottle. 😂

🧹 Carpet Dust
It’s made with a baking soda base to help freshen your carpets while leaving behind your favorite Pure Glow fragrance.

🚗 Car Diffusers
They’re a simple way to keep your vehicle smelling fresh without taking up space or needing an outlet. Just hang it up and enjoy your favorite scent while you’re on the go!

✨ TODAY IS THE DAY! ✨

Today is the one and only Pure Glow by A.S. event on Tinker AFB this year! 🇺🇸

And this one is extra special because it’s brought to you by the Tinker Spouses Club — which I’m proud to be a part of! ❤️

A little Pure Glow history: I started doing events while my husband was initially deployed, and this event back in March was actually one of the first times I decided to dip my toes into the vendor world. 🥹

Fast forward to now… I’ve gone from nervously trying out my first few events to becoming a seasoned vendor, and I’m genuinely having SO much fun with it! 🥰

And here’s something that makes this season of Pure Glow even more meaningful: I’ve done all of this while recovering from a dislocated knee that happened in April. 🦵🏼

Learning, growing, making products, preparing for events, setting up booths, figuring things out, and continuing to show up — all while recovering and with my husband still deployed. ❤️🇺🇸

It definitely hasn’t always been easy, but looking back at where I started in March compared to where Pure Glow is now… I’m pretty proud of how far I’ve come.

So today, I’m just excited to be here. To support other small businesses, support the military community, see familiar faces, meet new ones, and enjoy something I’ve grown to genuinely love doing. 🫶🏼
