The Graviton is a sleek/ borderline gentleman style carry. Don’t let that fool you, this knife may be good looking but that’s not the only thing going for it. The thin and wicked sharp hollow ground wharncliffe blade is very utilitarian, great for every day cutting tasks (Amazon packages beware). The Graviton is a fidget monster with the fuller being able to be deployed with both a thumb and reverse flick and don’t forget the perfectly executed front flipper. The Graviton easily disappears in the pocket but is also begging to be used, seamlessly being integrated into your every day carry, but trust me, you won’t forget it’s there. Customized Kansept Model 6 - Stonewashed sheeps foot blade reground to a satin reverse tanto/modified sheeps foot - S35VN blade steel - Titanium frame lock - Custom pattern and anodizing - new more aggressive jimping added to the top of the blade. My first customization and grinding of a blade, also my first diamond stone sharpening by hand. Learned a ton in the process and was able to maintain the same cutting edge length that was on the original knife. It had a bad stonewash on it to start and after all the work it opens and closes like a dream. I will continue to learn more as I keep customizing knives and as far as this one, I’m pretty happy with the outcome for a first full customization.
