Sunflower Flips by Dawn I am proud to say that I am a Kansan. Kansas is known for being the Sunflower State. The sunflower is one of my favorite flowers.

My goal is to take tired pieces of furniture and bring it back to life for someone to use in their home.

My projects for this holiday weekend. Trying to get ready Old Settlers weekend in September.
The Ethan Allen end tables are going to be a boho look (hopefully). The chair is going to be painted so it can be used as decoration on someone's porch/entryway. Stay tuned for updates!

I started working on this beautiful Ethan Allen nightstand or end table. First thing is to give the piece a good thorough cleaning. I had to get out my nylon scrubber and plastic scraper to remove gum and something else (probably wax). It's drying, then time for sanding!

My current project. This will be posted for sale this afternoon. I ended up painting the table top since I couldn't get the stain to work. I (and with Jesse's help) cleaned the rest of the piece and chairs. I think it turned out pretty good.
