Fernweh Candles

Fernweh Candles Fernweh Candles are handmade concrete vessels with cotton wicks and coconut wax blend. My handmade concrete candles are inspired by my love to travel.

The definition of Fernweh is “ A longing for far off places”. The scent of my candles are named after my favorite places I have visited. From vessel to the eco friendly coconut wax, each candle is handmade using the most sustainable products available. My concrete candles are the perfect way to add a modern coziness to any living space. My hope is that you reuse the vessel when the candle is finished for succulents, herbs or storage. All fragrance oils used are phthalate free and infused with essential oils. Orders or questions can be made through Facebook, Instagram or email. Free personal delivery in Omaha.

The fall collection is back, with one new scent joining two returning favorites.

The names are inspired by the season itself — Autunno means autumn in Italian, while Récolte and Cosecha mean harvest in French and Spanish.

Autunno — crisp apple, green leaves + cedar
Fresh apple blended with green leaves and cedar. Fresh and woodsy with just enough warmth for fall.

Récolte — pumpkin, cardamom + chai
Warm pumpkin layered with cardamom and chai. Cozy and spiced, without being overly sweet.

Cosecha — ripe pear, brandy + warm spice
The newest fall scent. Ripe pear blended with warm brandy and subtle spice. Soft, warm and a little unexpected.

I wanted the fall collection to feel warm and seasonal without the overly sweet fall scents.

All three are available this weekend at the farmers market, or message me to order for porch pickup.

Brooklyn, reblended.
Warm amber and vanilla layered with sandalwood, incense and smoked woods. A little deeper, a little smokier, and less sweet than the original - warm, moody and made for cooler nights.
The new Brooklyn makes its debut this weekend at the Omaha Farmers Market.
Fall scents arrive next weekend.

A little morning light on Mexico City.

My candles and reed diffusers are hand-poured in recycled Spanish glass. Candles are made with a coconut beeswax blend, while reed diffusers provide continuous fragrance for 6+ months — just remember to flip your reeds occasionally to refresh the scent.

When your candle or diffuser is finished, return the glass to me and receive a $4
credit toward your next one.

Mexico City - fresh, green notes of fern + moss.

Each concrete vessel is hand poured in small batches, making every one completely unique. Once the candle is finished, the vessel is yours to repurpose — as a planter, for storage, or whatever comes next.

Summer has been a busy one at Fernweh Living. The farmers market has kept me busy pouring, packing and restocking — and I’m so grateful for everyone who has stopped by the booth, supported my small business, and continued to come back week after week.

Thank you for all the support this summer. It truly means so much to me.

And while summer isn’t quite over yet, I’ve been working behind the scenes on what’s next…

Fall scents are coming at the beginning of September. A few familiar favorites + some new scents I can’t wait to share.

See you at the market.

Introducing five new scents, inspired by places that stay with you.

Lake Como — fig, bergamot, oakmoss, soft musk. Warm and smooth with a subtle creaminess. Earthy, refined, and softly enveloping.

Tuscany — tomato leaf, basil, bergamot, olive leaf. Green, sunlit, and alive. A true garden scent with depth and brightness.

Provence — lavender, chamomile, bergamot, vanilla. Soft florals layered with warmth. Calm, soothing, and quietly comforting.

Lisbon — creamy matcha, soft citrus, green leaves, bergamot. Fresh yet soft with a gentle depth. Clean, green, and quietly elevated.

Mexico City — green fern, moss, cedar, soft woods. A shaded walk beneath trees and sun-warmed stone. Fresh, earthy, and quietly grounding.

Portofino — pear, white tea, citrus blossom, soft musk. Light and coastal with a soft sweetness—clean, airy, and effortless.

Each scent is carefully blended to create balance—not too strong, not too faint—just enough to fill a space beautifully.

These will be launching this weekend at the OMG Vintage Market in limited quantities. Once they sell out, I’ll be pouring more next week and adding them into the permanent Fernweh Living collection.

They will also be available at the Omaha Farmers Market beginning the first weekend of May.

Available while they last 🤍
