I read this article today and it made me latch on to the book 'Becoming Moral' a little tighter. There is a majority of people that have a moral compass instilled in them, usually at a younger age and usually because of religion. Religion plays good vs bad, light vs dark, etc and that is the purpose of this article. However, what if you are brought up without a religion? What if you didn't have a pillar or guide to show you how to be? There is an intrinsic piece to everyone and I believe that it just needs to be accessed. Read 'Becoming Moral Without a Compass' when you can. Read it in chunks, skip around, explore. You will find a lantern to guide you...it is inside you!
