Caregiving is often found in the details no one else sees. 💙

When a loved one begins depending on you for bathing, dressing and meals, oral care can easily become part of caregiving too.

Take a moment to notice the little things—are their teeth or dentures being cleaned? Are their lips unusually dry? Is food remaining in their mouth after meals? Are they suddenly uncomfortable when eating or drinking?

And whenever it’s safe, allow them to continue doing what they can for themselves. Care with dignity means helping without unnecessarily taking away independence.
