We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who reached out and applied to become a Team Driver for ProAlliance Racing / Hot Race Tires. We had an overwhelming response and have to say you all made it an extremely difficult decision. If you weren’t selected, please don’t be discouraged. We are just starting out with our new venture and hope to be able to open this up for more team driver’s as we continue to grow in the future.

We are extremely happy with our selections and know these individuals will represent our company and HotRace tires and keep this wonderful sport alive in different regions of the Country. We also added one extra International spot to include our Canadian friends.

Great write up from one of our racers David Lee! Thank you for sharing and congratulations 🏁

We finished our MidWest Series this past weekend in Norway, IL at The Groove. The series consists of 6 races where you can drop 2.

I went into the race holding 4th position in the 1/8 Open class. There was no chance for me to gain 3rd even without one of the top 3 missing this round.

So I focused on trying things on the C804 chassis to increase pace on the track. The track was in excellent shape and for the first round this season rain was ruled out. So by the end, lap times were close to earlier races.

The size of the field of drivers was small which is rather disappointing. This is the oldest onroad series in the north Americas.

I was able to qualify 4th in class. But I also had a monster crash in Q3 and had to replace the chassis plate and a couple other small parts for Sunday's competition.

Sunday had Q4 and the mains. My Q4 effort was good, but the car had a twitch finishing each corner, so I added a chassis stiffener to the front of the top deck. That worked to smooth out the arc of my corners and I was able to run very hard for the entire main.

My pace was very good and for the first time this year was able to stay on track for the entire main. Only time in the grass was from a little rubbing while trying to pass the lead driver. It took a few more minutes, and I finally took the lead of my main a ran hard to the end. Really consistent drive per my pit guy.

So I was second in scoring in my class and finished 4th in the series.
