Americans do haunted houses.
Britain just… is haunted.
Every crooked church, ivy-cloaked graveyard, and fog-draped lane feels like it remembers something. A whisper from another century. A candle flickering in a window that perhaps shouldn’t be lit.
Here, ghosts don’t rattle chains — they rustle through autumn leaves and accompany you on walks. You can just feel the—their—history.
It’s less frightening, and more enchanting.
Well, in the daylight anyways.
Different story when the sun goes to sleep.
Also—the crispness.
We love the crispness.
