The word grateful feels so small compared to the joy this brings me. đŸ„čđŸ€

12 orders packed up and ready to make their way to their new homes, and I honestly still can’t believe I get to do this. Knowing that these little resources will be used by so many kids and adults who need a little extra support makes my heart so happy. đŸ„č

If you placed an order yesterday or today, your package is already packed and on its way to the post office! 💌

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting our little business. Every order helps me continue creating resources that I truly believe can make a difference, while also helping us with therapy and medically necessary items for my little ones. đŸ„°

Thank you for being here, for supporting what I’m building, and for allowing me to do something I love while helping our family along the way.

I’m so incredibly grateful. đŸ€

If our Mini AAC Lanyards have been helpful for your child, student, or clients, I think you’re going to love this new one. 💙

I’m so excited to introduce the Mini AAC for Regulation.

Sometimes our kiddos aren’t able to tell us exactly what they need when they’re feeling overwhelmed. In those moments, communication can become even harder. This lanyard was created to give them a simple, accessible way to express their needs, whether that’s asking for a break, headphones, a quiet space, a fidget, or another regulation support.

When we give children a way to communicate before a behavior escalates, we’re not just helping them express themselves. We’re teaching self-advocacy, building emotional awareness, and creating opportunities for co-regulation.

Every child deserves to have their needs understood, even on the hardest days. I hope this new resource helps make those moments just a little easier for families, educators, and therapists.

What’s your child’s go-to regulation support?
Or if you’re a teacher or therapist, what’s the one support your students ask for most?

If this feels like something your child, student, or client has been missing, comment REGULATE below and I’ll send you the direct link to check it out. 💕

My camera roll is filled with little moments like these. đŸ„°

Videos of my business coming to life, but also videos of the reason behind it all
my children learning, exploring, communicating, and growing.

Every resource I create is made with children like my own in mind. The children who learn differently, who may need extra support finding their voice, building independence, or feeling successful in their everyday moments.

The tiny victories matter. The smiles matter. The progress matters.

And I’ll keep creating resources that celebrate every child’s unique way of learning. ✹

There are a lot of late nights behind every activity I create.

The printing, laminating, cutting, organizing, and assembling. It takes time. Sometimes a lot of it.

But then comes the moment that makes it all worth it.

A smile after completing a task.
A proud “I did it.”
A high five.
A child discovering they can learn in a way that works for them.

As an autism mom, I started creating these activities for my own children because I couldn’t always find what they needed. What began as something made with love for my family slowly became The Little Adaptive Classroom.

My hope has always been that these resources don’t just help my kids, but also support other families, therapists, teachers, and anyone working with learners with communication and learning differences.

Every product I make carries a little piece of my heart because it was inspired by the two greatest teachers I’ve ever had
 my own children.

If something I create helps one child communicate, learn, or feel successful, then every late night was worth it.

This is what makes me happy. đŸ€

One thing I love about pairing AAC tools together is how it supports generalization. đŸ€

In this video, my daughter is exploring both our AAC core board lanyard and her brother’s AAC device, matching icons and finding the corresponding buttons on the device. Some symbols look the same, while others are slightly different, which gives children opportunities to learn that communication can happen across different systems and formats.

Generalization is such an important part of AAC learning because communication doesn’t only happen in one place, with one device, or in one exact way. The more opportunities children have to recognize and use words across environments and tools, the more confident and independent they can become.

Watching siblings naturally learn alongside each other will always be special to me. đŸ«¶

If you’ve been looking for portable AAC supports to use at home, in therapy, school, or on the go, our AAC core board lanyards are available on Etsy. 💙

Still smiling thinking about today💕

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table, took the time to chat, and supported my small business. It truly meant so much getting to meet so many new faces and connect with other families and educators.

The Little Adaptive Classroom was created from my own journey as a mom, and being able to share these resources in person just hits different. I’m so grateful for every conversation, every kind word, and every bit of support.

If you didn’t get a chance to grab something, most of my items are available in my Etsy shop 💙
