Yesterday we spent the day at the Rainbowatonna - Pride Event! It was a lovely day filled with sunshine, love and rainbows! It was amazing to talk to everyone who stopped by my tent, even to just look at the plants. Can't wait to do it again next year!

Happy Fri-yay dirt babies! Today's Showcase Plant is the last of our purchases from - An awesome event I can't wait to go to again! Today's plant is another anthurium! It was picked up by our new friends ‐ but it was originally grown by Hai - from - who we had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with @ PlantCon in Chicago! What a small and crazy world the plant community is! It's had some adjusting to our environment to do, but now we have a new leaf coming in! 😍

Okay, dirt babies, listen up! This is not a plant pick up from our trip to the Big Plant Expo, but it's new leaf is SOOOO amazing, we're choosing it as our Showcase Plant for today! This Anthurium Silver Blush Mint is a local pick up from my wonderful and first planty friend ever, - she's an amazing gal who breeds her own anthuriums, is a kick a$$ pest assessor and has a plethora of anthurium knowledge too! Just look at the size of this new leaf, it's crazy!
