It’s Day 5 with no power.
I’m still grateful for my dry home. I’m still thankful for ice in my ice chest to keep my food cold. And I’m still blessed to have the family and friends surrounding me to get this work done.

Battery operated fans, lights and ice in an ice chest. They are a luxury in times like these. No generator, but it’s ok.

I am thankful for the linemen, the emergency workers and the clean up crews working tirelessly to get us going again.

Its day 5. God is still good. Neighbors care and we are going to get through this, one day at a time.

Pray for those less fortunate🙏
There are places passing out food and I heard Pika Grill in Pace will be open today 🥳 fyi

In all of this, God is still good.

Heres a little highlight reel for you…

This flagpole has been a constant in my life and this bird has sang to me for many-a-morning. But sadly, we lost the flag pole during the storm. Not sure where the bird is, but just like God I know he’s there. I may not be able to see him, but he’s there.

Just like God, we may not be able to see Him, but have faith, my friends! In the grand scheme of things it’s hard to imagine.
I promise you, He’s caring for you in ways you cannot even see right now. Neighbors helping neighbors.

We, The petite Pearl Furniture + Home decor at Alyssa’s , are praying for you. We are praying for strength to get through this and a hope for the future.
When we all get back to electricity, refrigerators full of food, roofs repaired and fences mended, we will be here to hug your neck and hear your story.

To our sweet petite Pearl family.
All of us are ok. All of us have sustained an enormous amount of damage. But we are safe. God has kept us and for that we are grateful.

For all asking
Cell services are limited; no calls and limited texting.
We still have no power. There is no ice anywhere and gas is very very very limited if you find any. Roads are impassible.

It’s unimaginable this area… it took a heavy hit. At times we were 110-120 sustained winds coming in from the Bay.

I’m from New Orleans and this thing was no joke! The noise and the cracking and humming was horrible.

Please pray for those less fortunate. There are trees IN houses all around us🙏.
For all who have reached out, there is very spotty service and while it is hard to respond, thank you!
Check on your neighbors.

It’s Thursday and we are preparing for a storm. But first, I had to run into the storefront at Alyssa’s and give y’all a little tour.

Because of the hurricane we were unable to drive west and pick up our BIG order of pepper jelly, but it’ll be restocked on Wednesday before the big Christmas Reveal on Sunday Oct 18. 🎄✝️
And the Mad Dash Mixes will be on the shelf Monday 🥳
