THE SASHIKO SHIRT
Re-Launching Sunday May 10th at 12:00 PM EST
In Stock & Ready To Ship

Alright guys, I want to give you all a heads up on this one.

We were able to secure more Japanese indigo Shashiko fabric for another run of The Sashiko Shirt. Honestly, I wasn’t sure these were going to be completed in time for this season, but we got it done.

Last time these launched, they sold out in minutes and completely caught us off guard. We were not able to secure as much fabric as we originally wanted this time around either, but we did make a larger run than the previous release. That being said, I still fully anticipate these selling out if you want one. I would strongly suggest being there for the launch.

For those joining us at our pop up this weekend at City Workshop, we will be there from 12 PM to 4 PM and bringing a small batch of The Sashiko Shirt with us. We will be giving first access in person before the online launch. We hope to see some of you there.

A few important things to know about these shirts.

These garments are completely unwashed and will shrink to size. I’ll be posting both a pre wash and post wash size chart so everybody can make the best decision on sizing.

This fabric is really special. Not all Sashiko fabric is created equal. The depth, texture, and character in this Japanese indigo fabric is on another level. It has an incredible amount of highs and lows throughout the weave, and the more you wear it, the better it gets. This thing is an absolute patina monster.

With that also comes crocking.

There will be a warning label on every garment because the indigo absolutely gets on everything in the beginning. Hands, shirts, car seats, furniture. It’s the real deal. Personally, I washed mine right away. Even after washing, there is still plenty of fading and character left to develop over years of wear.

This is one of those pieces that truly becomes your own over time.

We’re excited to announce our first popup at City Workshop in Maplewood NJ on May 9th from 12 to 4.

Roger and Josefina have been supporting us since the very beginning so it means a lot to be able to do this with them. Moments like this are what keep us going.

We’re proud to be building everything right here in New Jersey and this is a chance to bring it into a space where you can see it try it on and connect in person.

If you’re in the tri state area it would be great to meet you. We’ll be there the whole time.

We’re also hoping that those who make the trip will have first access to the restock of the Shashiko shirt.

We’ll have in store fittings and a free gift with purchase.

Come join us for some Japanese wh**ky and a good time.

And as always if any of you ever want to stop by our shop you’re always welcome just reach out and we’ll get something scheduled.

Hope to see some of you there.
