Paxton Main Street is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to enhance and promote the businesses, history and happenings in our rural town in East Central Illinois. Paxton, Illinois sits prominently positioned to welcome visitors and businesses along I-57 between Chicago & Champaign-Urbana. Travelers enjoy touring this Tree City USA, occasionally spotting original brick streets, as they take

in the historic homes, buildings and railroad cut. Longtime businesses like Hudson Drug Shop (so much more than a pharmacy!) and the Arcade Cafe anchor an expanding downtown that features unique shops, restaurants and convenient services. Paxton hosts numerous seasonal special events including Draggin' Main Car Cruise, 4th of July at Pells Park, Swine n Dine BBQ & Festival, Wine & Chocolate Walk, Paxton's Fall Gathering, Paxton Christmas Tree Lighting & Parade and more that highlight the festive nature of our community. At Eastern Illini when our neighboring co-op calls for assistance, we say YES! to helping them restore power as quickly and safely as possible. It's called COOPERATION AMONG COOPERATIVES and today we are sending two crews to Coles-Moultrie to repair broken poles and downed lines from the storm last night. Chance Hoffman, Jordan Kelly, Drew Schrodt, and Jay Eshleman are on their way and we want to thank them for stepping up and helping out.

🚨 LASER TAG IS COMING TO Hudz Family Fun Zone! 🚨
Get ready to battle it out in our laser tag arena! 🔫✨ Gather your friends, family, coworkers, or rivals and see who comes out on top!

📅 Laser Tag Dates:
• June 20th | 2 PM - 7 PM
• June 28th | 2PM-7PM
• July 10th | 5 PM - 9 PM
• July 26th | 2 PM - 7 PM
• August 15th | 2 PM - 7 PM (Back-to-School Laser Tag!)

💥 $10 per game
🎟️ General Admission Wristband Required
💲 $25 total (includes wristband + 1 laser tag game)
⏱️ Games start every 15 minutes
👥 Up to 12 players per game
⚔️ Two teams of up to 6 players each

In memory…

We remember Trooper Marvin C. Archer. Trooper Archer was shot and killed after he and his partner stopped a car for questioning in Paxton, Illinois. As the troopers approached the vehicle the driver jumped out and yelled his passenger had a gun. As Trooper Archer approached the car to arrest the second suspect he was shot in the chest and killed.

Trooper Archer had served with the Illinois State Police for five years and was assigned to District 21.

We need helpers to monitor the number of kids going in and out of the bounce houses. If you can help, please grab a shift. Inflatables will be set up more in the shade this year!
