This 1939 Baby’s Own Story: The First Five Years, designed by Ruth Caroline Eger, is filled with the most charming vintage illustrations and sweet pages for recording baby’s first five years.

The best part? The pages are largely unused and unfilled! 🥹

How were your sales this week? ✨

It was a slower week over here with 9 sales across Vinted, Facebook Marketplace, Etsy, and eBay—but that’s pretty typical with back-to-school season in full swing! 📚🍎

The fun part? An item from last year’s Christmas inventory finally found a new home, and an apothecary box I’d had tucked away for quite a while sold just a couple of hours after I listed it! 🎄📦

Last weekend my husband and I moved all of my inventory from a small room in the house and a yard shed into one organized storage room. Being officially empty nesters has its perks! It’s been so much easier to find things, and I’ve uncovered a whole pile of treasures I had completely forgotten I owned. 😄

Now comes the fun part—getting everything photographed and listed!

This matching pair of vintage Paulding porcelain wall sconces just found their way into The Tulip Trove.

I’m completely smitten with the softly ribbed porcelain, Art Deco-inspired lines, and those original pull chains. 🤍 They have that wonderful “this has been in a 1930s bathroom forever” kind of charm.

Marked Paulding and dating to around the 1930s–1940s, these would be gorgeous in a vintage bathroom, hallway, bedroom, cottage, bungalow, or historic home.

They have their original vintage wiring, so they’ll need to be professionally inspected/rewired before being put back into service — but for someone who loves authentic vintage details, these are pretty special.
