It’s another Flash Sale Friday! This week, you’ll find the yarn pack for my “Centifolia Hat” design is 20% off. The Centifolia Hat features corrugated ribbing for the brim and standard Fair Isle style knitting for the crown. The yarn pack uses nine balls of Jamieson’s of Shetland “Spindrift” in the colors shown. You’ll find it on the “Yarn Packs” page of my website, ready to ring up at the sale price (no codes necessary). The pattern is sold separately and can be found either on my site or on Ravelry. What’s the name of my website? Easy - it’s just my name - but you can find the link to my website in my profile, too. Happy , happy and I hope you have a glorious weekend!😘

My “Calling Scotland” set yarn pack is now 20% off on my website! Each yarn pack includes six full balls of Jamieson’s of Shetland “Spindrift” in the original colors, shown, to make one hat and two matching mitts. Happy ! And happy , too! At least I’m trying to find a good way to spread some happiness - tell me what you think! I do have new designs I hope to share with you before long, but don’t get too excited - I’ve spent the last few months waiting for yarn for them to come in and nothing is on its way just yet. 😩 Releasing designs for yarns knitters can’t find makes no sense to me. Meanwhile, my shelves are overflowing with gorgeous yarn to go with many of my existing designs. So here’s the plan: Each time I run a “Flash Sale Friday” event, it means I’ve put together one or two yarn packs for each of the five designs in the sale - same yarn, same colors as usual, ready to go anywhere in the US (outside of Arizona), with an extra sweet little discount to boot: 15% off accessories, 10% off garments. They’re ongoing, mainstay designs of mine using pristine yarn that I have in stock, in all the original colors - I just wanna stir things up, have a little fun and spread some yarn love (while I’m over here grumbling about delays.🤦🏼‍♀️ ) I’ll list the five sale designs in the comments, below. If you go to my website (link in profile) and head to my “Yarn Packs” page, you’ll see bright green SALE signs on the involved designs. If you’re looking at one of the current sale designs but not seeing the green SALE sign, sorry, but that means someone already snagged that special deal. Once the flash deals are grabbed, they’ll still be available at my usual pretty-darn-good prices and, who knows- if this goes well, I’ll try to make this a regular thing with a different collection of designs each time. Remember, pattern PDFs are always sold separately from yarn packs, on either my “Knitting Patterns” page or on Ravelry. 😘

Happy ! I’m finally free from my neck brace, starting physical therapy today, grateful for a perfect result and thrilled to be back to business. 😁 As you can see, I’m now able to finish up my Hibiscus Vest. (Pattern coming soon.) The lovely, ceramic buttons are from “TodoBunto” on Etsy. I know some folks like to needle felt steeks (although I suspect an adequate job of it would put me on the fast track to Tendonitis City), some whipstitch over the cut edge, some sew in the prettiest ribbons and some prefer to do nothing at all. All fine options, but I like the neatness and security of a folded and slipstitched edge. What about you?
