My first large bulb shipment arrived last week and I will have specialty daffodil bulbs available this weekend at the River Street Market for $2 each!

This is the perfect time to get all your bulbs tucked into your garden or planters and get ready for a beautiful spring after a long winter

It is finally here!!! Edgar Allen Poe in Petersburg River Street Market

IMichelle Murrills and her team are coming out in period dress and wander the market with Trivia questions and sweets to the correct answers. We will have a recital of The Raven and of Annabelle Lee and Michelle will do a 10-15 minute history of Edgar Allen Poe and his time here in Petersburg.
Also we will be serving Hot Apple C***r at the Lingerfelt Farms Meat truck for everyone!

Come put and get some fresh bread, donuts and pasta!!!

And warm up with c***r and enjoy a perfectly gloomy setting to enjoy some Edgar Allen Poe!

This morning's flowers had to go through a very serious inspection before getting ready for Chesterfield County Farmers Market tomorrow 11-2pm🕵️‍♀️

it's so easy to forget, or not see the change happening around us and it always amazes me how fast plants grow. Even though we are approaching the "shoulder" parts of the year with the autumn equinox on September 22nd a few weeks away and the days lengths are getting shorter and shorter plants are still growing fast!

I planted out some experimental fall stock flowers just two weeks ago and i wasn't sure if they were growing or doing okay in this extreme heat, and if i hadn't taken the first photo it would be hard to tell but WOW they have grown!

the trick over the next few weeks will be seeing if i can keep them cool (they don't like heat) and trying to get the stems to grow tall enough for cut flowers because they blooms on stock smell amazing so fingers crossed and hopefully i'll have a few beautifully scented stems of stock in a few weeks

It's going to be a beautiful table tomorrow morning at River Street Market from 9am-12pm full of early September beauty for you homes including dahlia bouquets, fresh-to-dry bouquets, and NEW THIS WEEK: mini $5 dried fairy posies and $5 mini dried lavender bunches!

Come out early to beat the heat and get first pick of all the beautiful fresh and dried flowers 💕🍂
