The Ground Coffee, Plants, & Gifts Two locations: Rittenhouse and Olde Kensington. Unique blend of coffee shop and plant store serving bubble teas, french pastries and light bites.

Founded in 2021 (but a little delayed because of pandemic stuff) The Ground at the Gotham is a coffee & plant shop that offers an always changing menu of beverages and snacks with a focus on creative seasonal and classic treats. Our design creates a warm and whimsical space filled with living greenery and thoughtfully curated gifts that are sourced from local creators. The Ground Coffee, Plants, & Gifts (known as The Ground CPG) located at The Gotham provides a gathering space and shopping experience that can also be reserved for private events, as well as options to reserve the courtyard or rooftop. We serve our neighbors and community by also hosting workshops and events that speak to our mission statement and goals.

😈🍋 Our staff has been drinking these for a while, but someone here is brand new to the experience.

Our kitchen started making these “wellness shots” for the staff last year, and enough of the team swears by them that we decided to add them to our grab & go options.

Made in-house daily with fresh ginger, turmeric, lemon, cayenne, honey, salt + black pepper. Add one to your tea or shoot it straight like our baristas.

We’re not making any health promises, but if our newest barista is any indication, it will definitely warm you up from the inside.

Okay but have you tried pumpkin spice + hojicha? 🎃

Your pumpkin spice order doesn’t have to be so predictable. Our house-made pumpkin spice syrup pairs really well with hojicha, a roasted Japanese green tea with a warm, toasty, nutty flavor. You can swap hojicha into any of our lattes for a lower-caffeine alternative to matcha or espresso. Always whisked to order and available hot or iced at both shops.
